The Chamber of Commerce is offering a scholarship to Lincoln Land, Robert Morris, Benedictine University, or University of Illinois Springfield. See Mr. Lawson for details.
Any 10th grade student who would like to attend the Hugh O’Brien leadership seminar next summer at the U of I, should see Mr. Lawson.
Greater Springfield Area Chamber Workplace skills film project is having an open call for auditions Saturday, November 7th starting at 9 AM until noon at Capital Area Career Center. Actors wanted: 4 lead characters and several support actors are needed. Age of characters are high school seniors, acting experience preferred but not required, all participating actors and members of this project are volunteers and will be named in film credits. Upload a resume of acting experience and why you would like to participate in this film project, along with a personal photo to http://chamberjobvideo.ning.com/ or bring them to the audition. You can sign-up for the 1st ever Dodgeball tournament during lunch Wednesday in the commons. Dodgeball forms are available in the main office for the 1st ever SHS Dodgeball Tournament Friday, November 6. Cost is only $30 for a team of 6 – 8 people. Completed forms should be turned back in to the main office by Wednesday, November 4.
All freshmen & sophomores interested in playing boys basketball not in a fall sport should come to a meeting tomorrow at 3:25 in Coach Reed’s room.

There will be a meeting after school tomorrow for all those who would like to try out for the wrestling team. The meeting should last 15 minutes and will be in room 266.
