Good morning Springfield High! Today is Friday, April 22, 2016 where successful Senators follow the classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning all throughout the building. Thank you for Being A Senator!

Prom tickets will be $35 for a couple and $25 for a single if purchased before the dance. Purchase your tickets during both lunch shifts. Prom is at the Illinois Building at the Fairgrounds on April 30th from 8-11 pm. Any questions see a senior class officer or Mr. Kramer.

Sophomore students who have Mr. Reed 5th or 6th hour, Hull 4th hour and Wieneke 3rd hour should report to the commons for PARCC testing today during, Friday during periods 1-3.

Freshmen students who have Mrs. Taft should report to the commons Monday morning for PARCC testing. Taft’s freshmen classes will test Monday during periods 1-3 and 5-7 and Tuesday during periods 1-3 and 5-7.

Springfield High School Class of 2018 Garage Sale, When: May 14 (7a.m.-12p.m.), Where: 1010 Williams Blvd. Near Washington Park and Why: to Raise money for Prom.

Bonjour Senators! “Be Our Guest” this weekend as Beauty and the Beast is performed live in Schnirring Auditorium at 7:30 tonight and tomorrow and at 2:00pm on Sunday. Come see the hideous beast transforms from his cold hearted self into a young, handsome, loving, prince, Special “flight” equipment will be used to help transform the magic. Don’t miss it!!

Achtung Achtung German Club! Atención Spanish Club! We will be going to Six Flags in St. Louis on Saturday, May 7. If you would like to join us for a day of fun, please go to room 250 for German Club and to room 260 for Spanish Club this coming Friday, April 22 after school to sign up with a non-refundable deposit of $20. The rest will be paid by both clubs. There are only 25 spots per club available, so make sure to be quick to reserve your spot.

It’s not too late to purchase your copy of the 2016 Capitoline Yearbook. You can pay 1/2 now and the other when the book arrives the first part of May. See Mrs. Eslahi in room 254 for more details.
