Yearbooks are in and will be distributed today during lunch in the commons. If you purchased a yearbook you must present an ID and sign for your book. There are 270 extra books for sale. If you want to purchase one the cost is $55 and we are accepting cash only.

College bound juniors: Are you interested in a $12,000 scholarship to Illinois College in Jacksonville? Do you meet 2 of the following criteria: rank in the top 10% of your class, have an ACT score of 25 or higher, have a core academic GPA of 3.5 on a 4pt. scale? See Mr. Lawson or Mrs. Povse for more information.

Senators! Springfield Public Schools is holding a fundraiser for the Superintendent's roundtable on Sunday, June 7th at Baker's Square from 4 - 9 PM. Class reunions as well as the graduating class of 2009 should attend this event. In the end, Dr. Milton may get hit with a pie to celebrate this night of graduates and high school students. Again remember, June 7th at Baker's Square is the graduation party 4 - 9 PM

Attention German Club! If you would like to be an officer next year, please see Herr Koeppel in room 262 for an application. All application forms must be turned in by Monday, May 18.

Attention all 2009-2010 SHS Scarlet Line Members. There will be an informational meeting Tuesday, May 19th. Scarlet Line Members should meet at 3:30 in the commons then parents and poms should return for the parent/member meeting from 5:30-6:30. Any questions see Coach Povse.

Attention Spanish Club members: Plan to attend the very last meeting of the year after school in Washington Park Tuesday, May 19th. Meet at the playground area by 3:30 for games, snacks, and conversation.

Attention Spanish Club members: Check the participants list on the Club bulletin board and in the Spanish classrooms to see if you are eligible to join us for a free lunch at Los Agaves on Sunday, May 24th. Your $2 registration fee, which will be returned to you at Los Agaves, must be paid when you sign up by May 21st with your Spanish teacher.

Attention all Driver's Ed students who have their permits. If you want to drive Behind the Wheel this summer you must see Ms. Dvorak in room 128 to get a schedule. Don't forget to pay your $50 fee.

The Jostens rep will be here on Weds. May 20th in the MORNING FROM 7:30 to 8:30 ONLY.
They will have the ring orders and it is an opportunity to order Graduation cap & gown.

German Club is showing the movie "Das Experiment" on Tuesday, May 19 right after school. Please see Herr Koeppel for the parent permission form. We hope to see you for the last movie this year.

SENIORS!! Check your cap and gown!! Make SURE you have your red stole! One was found in the parking lot yesterday after school. It can be claimed in the main office.

Attention student traveling to Europe with Ms. Huffman in June. There will be a mandatory meeting in the art room this Wednesday at 6:00 pm. You must have a representative there.

The Lady Senators Girls track team finished 2nd at the Sectional track meet held at Chatham Saturday. Qualifying for the state meet this weekend were: Kirby Hale, Christy Rolf, Kathy Rolf, and Maddie Alexander in the 4X800 relay. Lexia Swope, Brytani Cavil, Jessica McCoy, and Sarah Matson in the 4X100. Laurel Neposchlan qualified in the pole vault. Maddie Alexander also qualified in the 1600 meter run and Sarah Matson in the high jump and 400. Congratulations and Good Luck at the State meet at EIU ladies.
