Junior and Senior Girls interested in engineering: The University of Iowa Society of Women Engineers is holding a weekend conference April 17th and 18th. The conference is designed to introduce women to the opportunities in the engineering field, tour the Iowa campus and network with girls who have shared interests. Applications are due April 4. Attention Attention Juniors and Seniors! The following schools are scheduled to visit: -
Today SIU-Carbondale at 8:45 AM and University of Missouri at 10:45 AM, Tomorrow Truman State at 10 AM and Bradley at 2:15 PM, Wednesday SIU-Edwardsville, Friday Southeast Missouri State 9 AM, and March 26 MacMurray 9 AM. Don't forget that passes are not required for lunch visits but you must have a pass from the guidance office up to the day before to attend the college sessions! Please ask the Guidance office for a college pass to attend these sessions!
Crimestoppers will pay $50 to anyone who has information that leads to the arrest of the person responsible for the recent rash of graffiti in the restrooms. See any administrator or security guard with your information, and remember, you will remain anonymous!

The boys track and field team competed at the Danville Invite on Saturday. First place finishers were Derek Wilkerson in the long jump in an automatic indoor state jump, and Michael Simon in the 1600m run. The team will compete next Saturday at the Charleston Indoor Invite in their last
indoor meet before the indoor state meet.
On Saturday the Senator Scholastic Bowl team defeated Peoria Richwoods, Washington, and Moline to capture their second straight sectional title and punch their ticket to the Peoria Civic Center and the state tournament Eilte 8. Seniors Carl Butt, Michael Lanier, and Simon Daniels led the team back to the big dance with 3 victories that were never really in doubt. The Senators will face Carbondale, Loyola Academy, and Naperville Central in 3 pool play matches this Friday. Good luck to the team as they try to bring home a state trophy for the second straight year.
