Attention Attention Juniors and Seniors! The following schools are scheduled to visit: -
Tomorrow at 9 AM University of Illinois at Springfield and during lunch Paul Mitchell the School, Normal, Il. Wednesday Blackburn will be here at 1:15 PM. Don't forget that passes are not required for lunch visits but you must have a pass from the guidance office up to the day before to attend the college sessions! Calendar and posters are on the Senior bulletin board, located by the Guidance office door, will have date and time the university or college will be in the building. Please ask Mrs. Sharp in the Guidance office for a college pass to attend these sessions!
Do Something will be holding a Jeans for Teens clothing donation through February19. Please donate your gently used denim jeans every morning in the Commons before school. All the jeans are then donated to homeless teens. Please make a contribution to this wonderful cause!
If you are interested in being on the yearbook staff next year you must complete an application now. You can get a yearbook application from Mrs. Devlin in room 112 before school or you can pick one up in the guidance office. Applications are due to Mrs. Devlin by February 20 - no late applications will be accepted.
Create a poster or write an essay that celebrates the 100th anniversary of the founding of the N.A.A.C.P. Prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd places will be awarded. For further details, see posters in the halls or see Mrs. Eslahi in room 254. Deadline for entry is February 23.
JSA meeting Today after school in the Library for Musical Chairs Debate.
Attention All Baseball Players: Anyone going out for baseball and not out for a winter sport must attend a short meeting Toright after school in the commons. See Coach in room 320 if you absolutely cannot attend.
There will be a meeting Tuesday April 5th after school in Mr. Szabo's room to discuss the Bass fishing tournament.
The SITE Club is meeting after school T0day in Mrs. Fox's room. This meeting is mandatory if you plan on going to the Computer Banc.
Ready for a great mystery? Join Literature Club at their Open Mic Night! Try to remember the clues and figure out Who Dunnit? There will be lots of food, so come hungry! If you are interested in performing at the Open Mic Night, there is a sign-up sheet in the main office. Only fifteen acts will be accepted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Your act can be anything from a poetry reading to a band! Don't forget Open Mic Night on March 10 at 6:00 pm in the Commons!
The WYSE team will meet after school tomorrow in Mr. Adkins room. We will be discussing the sectional tournament.
There will be no JV Scholastic Bowl practice this week.
Valentine Carnations selling for $1 at lunch in the commons. Flowers will be delivered during 3rd and 4th hour on Wednesday.
Cheerleading practice will be at 6PM tonight, Varsity will be staying for Girls' game.
