The 2016-2017 Capitoline Yearbook is now on sale at $60 a copy; in January, the cost will be $70 a copy.

Fortunately for those Juniors who were not able to get a parking spot in the lottery; 15 students did not come to redeem their spots. So, now you have one last opportunity to go for a spot. Remember you still have to have a good discipiline and attendance record for last year and this year plus you will need to provide your proofs of insurance and registration as well as your Driver’s License and have your $75. Come play games like Risk, Axis and Allies, Settlers of Cataan, Diplomacy, Star Wars, Walking Dead, and tabletop miniatures. We meet in Room 328 during Lunches “A” and “B” on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursdays. If you love history this is the club for you, everyone is welcome.

The Ministerial Alliance of Springfield invites students in grades 9-12 to participate in the Dr. Martin Luther King Essay Competition. If you are interested in writing an essay, please pick up the information sheet in the guidance office.
The Varsity football team will travel to Decatur MacArthur tonight. Last year the Senators prevailed in a 58-21 win.
Student Council will be selling White Out shirts by order form today during both lunch shifts. There are multiple options for shirts including dry-fit and Nike. You only have a week left to purchase shirts to help SHS White Out Cancer at the September 30th game against Lanphier.
