If you didn't travel to the east side last week you missed an epic blackout. Your varsity Senators football team put the smack down on Southeast in the 2nd half and improved its record to 3 and 1 heading into Homecoming. The overall player of the game was David Brandt who had 2 sacks. The offensive player of the game was D-Willy Wendel Burnes who scored a huge 3rd quarter touchdown. Defensive player of the game was the Rock, Rahkeem Hawkins who had a phenomenal pick 6 touchdown in the 2nd quarter. Last but not least was Matt Severino as the Special Teams player of the game as he nailed all 5 extra points and a 35 yard field goal in the rain. Coach Gully and the team would like to thank all the loyal fans who braved the rain and stayed around to sing the school song after victory. Let's do it again this week for Homecoming.

The boys soccer team went 2 and 1 at the Rockton Tournament. Kelby Phillips and Nate Cheung were named to the All-Tournament team. Logan Willard scored his 100th goal for SHS during a 3-1 victory over United Township. The Senators will play Chatham Glenwood Tuesday. The Senators and the Titans are undefeated in the Conference.
