Last Day to Order your Avanti's Famous Gondola, only $7 or Loaf of Bread, only $3 now from any German student, German Club student or from Herr Koeppel. Order yours today. The 2017 Capitoline Yearbook is now on sale for $60; in January, the cost will be $70. Make your payment in room 254 or through Student Fees. If you don’t have the full amount now, you can pay one half and the other when the book arrives in April.

If you want your baby picture in this year’s Capitoline Yearbook, bring it and $10 to Mrs. Eslahi in room 254.

Trick or Treat Freshman!!! Actually, it’s Tardy or Treat for you! Since the first day of school, Freshman have had 268 tardies, which is way too many! We are challenging you to be tardy free for the whole month of October. If you can do it, you will be rewarded with a special treat on October 31st. So be prepared and plan ahead so you can be in class on time for every period.

The class of 2019 will be selling shirts today during both lunch shifts. Shirts are $10 so support your class and show your school spirit. Thanks

Are you are a freshmen interested in becoming a doctor? The P4 physician preparatory pipeline program applications are due Friday, October 7. Applications are available in the guidance office.

Ninth and tenth grade students who took the PARCC test last spring will receive their results in literature class today.
Junior students who took the math portion of the PARCC test last spring will receive their results in math class today.

Hey all you Senators who love supporting your sports teams, the first meeting of High Pride will be this Thursday immediately after school in the Library until 3:45pm. If you are in a fall sport and would like to join please see Ms. Troike in room 258.

Despite the heartbreaking loss on Friday your Senator football team have 2 positive things that came out of the game. Due to the popularity of the White Out the team raised around $1000 for St. Judes. The team also secured the Superintendents Cup for the best record among Springfield public schools. The team will travel to Decatur on Friday to take on Eisenhower.

Be A Senator will be selling hot, delicious Papa John’s Pizza for $2 per slice in the commons during both lunch shifts on Thursday. Pizza, pizza, pizza, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday.

College/University visits this week are as follows:
THURSDAY- Eastern Illinois University at 12:40, Webster University (St. Louis) at 1:35, Augustana College at 2:30 and
FRIDAY- Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville at 2:30. Sign up and get a pass in the Guidance office or with Mr. Kyes.

The boys golf team finished 5th at yesterday's Quincy Regional tournament at Westview Golf Course and failed to advance as a team. However, sophomores Adler Boatman and Zach Richmond, as well as senior Trevor Minder, all will head to Lick Creek on Monday for Pekin's Sectional. Great job guys and good luck.
