Good morning Springfield High! Today is Friday, January 13, 2017 where successful Senators follow the classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning all throughout the building. Thank you for Being A Senator!

Freshman interested in filling in for our vacant Vice President position need to see Mr. Kramer in room 326 by next Wednesday. All interested students must pick up an application, complete the application, and return it to Mr. Kramer by Friday January 20th. Elections will be held during lunch on Monday January 23rd.

CITY SPIRIT DAYS ARE HERE! STARTING ON TUESDAY, January 17 as we do not have school on the 16th.
Tuesday: twin/group day, Wednesday: Jersey/Sports Team day, Thursday: Music day, Friday: America/camo day
We hope to see everyone in the spirit of city next week!

Attention all boys interested in competing for the 2017 boys track and field team. There is a mandatory informational meeting on Tuesday January 17th in the commons right after school. The meeting should only last 10-15 minutes. If you are not in a winter sport you MUST attend. See Coach Cotner with any questions.

Friday night is the last home dual meet of the season. This will be the City Duals for the title! Come out tonight to support your Senators Wrestling team.

Achtung Achtung potential GAPP students! It’s time for the next step in the application process “ the interviews. Please see Herrn Koeppel in room 250 to pick up your GAPP interview packet and check on the GAPP bulletin board when your appointment is.

No football practice/workouts today.

The Lady Senator basketball team beat Decatur Eisenhower 68 to 21. SHS was led in scoring by Raina Gully with 25 points, Ozzy Erewele chipped in 11 and Montshianna Pullium added 10. Next up for SHS is a game on Saturday for the conference lead at Rochester starting at 12:30.
