Morning Announcements for Wednesday, March 15, 2017

March 15, 2017

Good morning Springfield High! Today is Wednesday March 15, 2017 where successful Senators follow the classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning all throughout the building. Thank you for Being A Senator!

Did you know… A sense of curiosity is nature’s original school of education. I’m sure our students and staff are curious about what the character Mother does in the musical Ragtime. You can see for yourself as SHS performs the musical Ragtime this weekend ~ Be sure to get your tickets early!

Don’t forget the Barnes & Noble Bookfair and support our great Booster club.  Just mention “SHS Ragtime” at checkout.

There will be a GSA meeting in room 150 on March 16 at 3:30.  Please see Ms. Greco with any questions.

The following colleges will be visiting Springfield High this week. Please see Mr. Kyes for a pass.

THURSDAY:

  - Monmouth College during 5th Hour

  - SEMO (Southeast Missouri State University) during 7th Hour

Seniors- It is time to begin making your final plans for next school year. Please make sure you have completed your FAFSA, housing applications, and submitted your deposits. See Mr. Kyes for questions.

Attention Seniors, Jostens will be here on Thursday March 16th in the commons doing lunch to deliver your graduation announcement orders. Final payment must be made to receive your order. Jostens will only accept cash or money orders on  delivery day. You can also pay on line with a credit or debit card. Sophomores who missed ordering class rings may order Thursday in the commons.

Today is your last chance to purchase tickets for gondola sandwiches and breads from Avanti’s. If you are interested and haven’t already put in your order, you can still ask a German student or myself today. Gondolas are $7 and breads are $3. Thanks for your support of our German program.
