“Congrats to the first hour art classes!  Be A Senator rewarded all first hour art students on Wednesday who were here on time with a coupon for a free Sonic cheeseburger.  Out of all art classes, only 1 student was tardy.  Keep getting to class on time and your class could be next!”

The baseball team completed a sweep over Lincoln in its opening CS8 series with a 12-oh win yesterday. Damian Pierce led the way on the mound with his second win, striking out 10 in 5 innings while allowing only 2 hits and 2 walks. Will Reiser finished it up with 2 scoreless innings of his own in retiring all six hitters he faced. The offense was paced by Jimmy Hollahan once again with 3 hits including a double good for 3 RBI’s. Reiser also added 3 hits for 2 RBI’s to go along with 2 hits and 2 RBI’s by Pierce who also had a double. Tanner Eddings broke the game open in the 4th with a 2 run single, and Birthday Boy Devin Frasco started the 4 run, 2 out rally in the 7th by battling off a tough 2 strike pitch to set the table for 4 Senator hits to seal the win. Next up is Quincy in a Saturday 11 o'clock doubleheader at Robin Roberts Stadium.
