Put on your dancing shoes and head to “Swing into Spring” Friday night in the SHS Commons. Swing dance lessons will begin at 6:00. The SHS Jazz Bands will be playing some great tunes from 6:30 to 9:30. Admission free and concessions will be sold. We’d love to see you there.
Seniors who are planning to attend Lincoln Land Community College in the fall- there is a field trip planned for you to take your placement tests, complete the new student orientation, and meet with an academic advisor. The field trip is Thursday April 27. Please see Mr. Kyes for a permission slip and details.
Attention Juniors: The Board of Education is now accepting applications for the 2017-2018 Student Board of Education Member. Applications and additional information can be found on the Springfield High School Guidance Center’s webpage or by speaking with your guidance dean. The deadline to apply is 4:30 p.m. on April 7.
All students who have not had behind the wheel and have completed classroom drivers ed, need to make sure you have turned in your permit receipt and paid your $100.00 This is the only way you can take Behind the Wheel. If you have questions please stop by Room128 on your lunch hour.
Applications are being accepted for the 2017-2018 Student Board of Education member through April 7, 2017. The position is open to current Springfield Public School juniors that will be seniors during the 2017-2018 school year. This year, applicants are required to submit their application electronically. A link to the application and more information regarding the position can be found on the district website.
