Students who are registered to take a dual credit class next year need to complete the Lincoln Land Community College online admission application by June 1. Please refer to the letter that you received from Mrs. Gordy for directions.
Go, Glow and help the house Grow . . .the Ronald McDonald House Teen Council is sponsoring a 5K run/walk on Friday, May 5th at Erin’s Pavilion at Southwind Park. Attention Seniors! There is an important Senior Class meeting on Tuesday, May 9th during 2nd hour in the commons. Plan to attend the meeting. We will talk about the Senior Recognition Ceremony, Graduation practice and ceremony, and how to get your final transcript sent at the end of the year.

The SHS Choir Auditions for the 2017-2018 school year will take place this week from 3:45-6:00pm each day in the choir room. Come down to the choir room to sign up for a date and time to audition. All you need to prepare is 1 minute of a song that best showcases your vocal talents.
The SHS ladies ran in the Central state eight conference meet. The title top placers were Ozzy Erewele, Stephanie Schoeben, Gabby Wood, Lauren Ferguson, Emily Smoot, Sydney King, Abby Norris, Udaku, Dumas, and Gully.
The Lady Senator softball team upped their conference record to 8-6 with a 11-0 win over Jacksonville. Maggie Beauman had a big two run single to lead the way. Jaden Long also assisted with an RBI single. Good job ladies!
The baseball team won a 7-nothing shutout over Riverton on Saturday to up their season record to 14 and 8. Will Reiser led the way on offense with 3 hits and 3 RBI’s as 5 pitchers combined to allow no runs. Austin Alderman picked up the win throwing 2 and two thirds scoreless innings. Next up is a city contest tonight at seven against Southeast at Lanphier Park.
