New Class Options available for Juniors. If you are interested in taking AP Music Theory or AP Art History, it is now available to Juniors. For AP Music Theory, you must have completed Honors Music Theory 336 to enroll. It’s only offered 3rd period, For AP Art History, There is no prerequisite, and students who've done well in courses such as history, literature, or studio arts, are encouraged to enroll. It’s only offered 4th period, If you are interested in the class, please see Mr. Williams in the Guidance Office.

9th grade students who are interested in applying for the P4 physicians pipeline program can pick up an application in the guidance office.
Attention Students: If you have not taken Behind the Wheel and would like to , please turn in your permit receipt to Ms. Dvorak ASAP!
Any students that have medical records with them today, please take to Nurse Kim in room 167 as soon as possible.
Reminder ALL 9th graders need a physical, ALL 12th graders need a meningitis vaccine, and ALL students new to District 186 need a complete immunization record and physical.
If this information is not received, you will NOT be allowed to come to school after Labor Day, and all absences will be unexcused.

Juniors & Seniors: Have you checked out the calendar outside Mrs. Lauer’s post secondary office? So far in September we will have presentations from Kendall College, University of Dayton, McKendree College, Illinois College, Michigan State and Vanderbilt! Schools are added weekly. Make sure to check out the calendar and sign up for visits outside Mrs. Lauer’s office.
Thanks to everyone that came out and saw the varsity football team defeat U-High 42-21 on Friday. Special thanks to all the students who stuck around to sing the school song with the team. Players o the game were Dae-Chon Pippin for Special Teams, Taryn Wallace for Offense, QaRon Hawkins for defense, and the overall player of the game was Wendel Burnes. The team takes on Jacksonville in Jacksonville this Friday at 7.
