Listen up students! The SHS Photo Video club is back on schedule but this time with a new meeting spot. We’ll be in the Commons this Wednesday, the 27th right after school discussing our new projects and club officers. After this, meetings are scheduled to be held every other Wednesday. Also, don't forget to turn in your sign-up sheets and $5 club fees. See you there!

Juniors & Seniors interested in attending the Capital Area Education/Career Fair at the State Fair-Orr Building on Wednesday, October 4th should've received a permission slip in their English classes. If not, stop by the Guidance Office. Students will leave school at 11:57 pm or after 4th period. In order for this to be coded as an activity, students must have turned in Signed permission slips by Monday, October 2nd, 3:30 pm-no exceptions. Students check in with their Guidance Dean at the Orr Building. STUDENTS MUST BE PASSING ALL CLASSES TO ATTEND.
Attention seniors: If you missed our Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) workshop, it will also be held Wednesday, September 27 at 6:00 p.m. at Lincoln Library in the Carnegie Room on the North 1st Floor. Attend this workshop and learn the average cost of college, types of financial aid available and what you need to apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). See Mrs. Lauer with questions!
The varsity boys team finished 2nd out of 20 teams. Kyle Boughter was the top placer for SHS. The boys F/S team finished 3rd out of 14 teams. Sam Forness was the top placer for SHS. In the boys JV race, Cameron VanMetre was the top placer for SHS.
Homecoming guest forms are available in the guidance office for any student bringing a guest from another school. Please have the forms completed with proper signatures and bring them with you to the dance along with your photo ID”s. It is very important that you and your guest provide identification.
