Good morning Springfield High! Today is Monday, March 19, 2018.

9th, 10th and 11th graders will test on April 10, 2018.  All students must bring pencils, a calculator, and a photo ID.

Any student who wishes to sign up for an AP test needs to sign up in the Guidance office until Friday.  The price for each exam is $94, unless you qualify for a reduced rate.  If you have any questions, please see Ms. Smith.

SENIORS - Pick up attendance exemption forms for 4/10/18 in guidance office.  The forms must be signed and returned by 3/29/18 !!!!!!

Attention Juniors: If you are interested in being in the work program next year you are required to complete an application. You can get an orange application from the guidance office, Mrs. Devlin in room 121 or Mr. Koger in room 110. Please stop by Mrs. Devlin's office during lunch if you are interested in the work program, have questions, or need an application. Applications are due before spring break on March 29th. 

Attention all Luke, Han, Leia and Chewie Fans:  We are starting a new SHS STAR WARS club!  Meet in the cafeteria on Friday from 3:30-4:30 pm.  Leave your droids outside and join us for our first meeting.

Anyone interested in playing volleyball next school year, there will be a preliminary meeting on April 11th at 2:30 pm in the cafeteria.

If you are interested in being on the set crew for FOOTLOOSE, sign up on the sheet posted outside of room 216.

The Springfield High School Varsity Boys Tennis Team competed in its first meet of the 2018 season on March 17, 2018, at the Metamora Indoor Quad in Peoria, Illinois.  The team finished 2-1, winning 11 of 15 matches.  Raj Sinha and Shaul Latif dominated at singles cruising to three victories each.  Each of the doubles teams faced stiff competition and came away with a combination of hard fought victories and losses.  The teams of Matu Kristos/Eric Martin and David Jiang/Zeke Cross played some intense matches that came down to third set tiebreaks, with each player winning 2 of their 3 matches.  David Ye/Brian Becker faced three highly competitive doubles teams and were able to come away with a victory against Ottawa.
