Attention All Senators:  Would you like to win 2 prom tickets?  Today is the last day to donate any amount to the United Way.  All donations of $5 or more enters you into a prize drawing for 2 free prom tickets. Donations will be accepted in the commons during lunch, or see Mrs. Williams.  Thanks in advance for your support and good luck!

If you are interested in a career in plumbing, as an electrician, bricklayer, mason, carpenter or many other skilled trade there is an event SHS will be attending that's perfect for you. On November 13th from 12:30-3:30 we will be attending the Building Trades Apprenticeships and Careers Day at the BOS Center that will have members from local trade unions doing presentations and you will have the opportunity for hands on learning. Permission slips can be picked up with Mr. Kramer in 153A. Any questions or you want to voice your interest see Mr. Kramer.

The United States Military Academy at West Point will be conducting an informational meeting in Springfield on Wednesday, November 7th from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.  The meeting will be held at the offices of the Association of Illinois Cooperatives, 6460 6th St. Frontage Road E, Springfield Illinois. This meeting is designed to introduce students and parents to West Point and includes the admission process and educational opportunities available. This information is most applicable to sophomores and juniors as the deadline for the class of 2019 has already passed, although seniors are welcome to attend.
FREE T-SHIRTS FOR BLOOD DONORS!!  Staff & Students 16 or older can donate blood to the Central Illinois Community Blood Center on Tuesday., November 13th, 8:30 am-2:00 pm, in the Auditorium. Students aged 16 must have a signed parental consent form. You must sign up during lunch-in the Commons, and before school or after school-in the Guidance Office by 3:30 pm on Thursday, November 8th. Please sign-up ASAP because once the form is filled, you will not be able to sign up. Teachers & Staff do not need to sign up, you can report to the Auditorium at your convenience. Blood donations SAVE LIVES!  Any questions-please see Mr. Williams.

There will be a short meeting in the auditorium Monday after school for all boys interested in Swimming for the Senators this season. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Connolley.

Krispy Kreme donuts will be on sale during both lunch shifts today.
