The softball team lost a tough one last night to a good Rochester team. What ended up as a 5-0 game, was tied in the 6th inning with 2 outs. Maddie Cleary, Hunter Lee, and Malia Bender all led the way with multiple hits on the night. The girls look to bounce back tonight at UIS against the same team.
The SHS baseball team had a rough night as they lost by a 10 to 3 score to CS8 rival Rochester. The offense was only able to produce 4 hits, highlighted by a double from Isaac Becker. Will Reiser added a hit and gave a competitive effort on the mound, but things just didn't go the Senators way for much of the game. The diamondmen will be back at it today against the Rockets in a 4:30 home game at Robin Roberts Stadium.
