Attention students and teachers! The SHS Photo Video Club is proud to present the first Solon Film Festival. Everyone is invited to this fun night, showcasing two student films and more. Come support the club, May 3rd, at 7:00PM in the SHS auditorium. Witness our stars, Will Moffett, as a crazed old man, and Noah Deassuncao as a rubber ducky obsessed jerk. Bring your friends and family to this one night event! Admission is only two dollars per person.

The Senator softball team broke out the bats in a big way in their 16-1 win over Lanphier last night! Malia Bender, Jaden Long, Maddie Cleary, Skyler Wantland and Claire Bess all had multiple hits in the win. Maddie Cleary notched another win striking out 7 while allowing only 3 hits. Keep it going girls!

The baseball team won a thriller on a Jacks Hyde walk-off single to score Luke Flesner in the bottom of the 8th inning as the Senators beat Lanphier 1 to nothing on a combined extra inning  shutout by Will Reiser and Blake Pettys. Reiser threw six innings and struck out seven allowing only 3 hits. Pettys came in and earned the win throwing 2 scoreless innings and allowing only one hit. Hyde led the offense with 2 outstanding at bats, including his game winner. The Solons go for at least a share of the City Title tonight at 4:15 at Lanphier Park.

Would you please now rise for the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, Indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
