PIZZA, PIZZA, PIZZA!!! THURSDAY, THURSDAY, THURSDAY!!! Be A Senator will be selling hot, delicious Papa John's Pizza today during both lunch shifts in the Commons. For only $2, you can enjoy a slice of pepperoni, sausage, or cheese. Come and get it before its gone!! Thanks for supporting Be A Senator!

9th, 10th, and 11th graders - you are mock testing on Wednesday, October 23rd.  You need to bring your own pencils, calculator and book to read for that day. Make sure you are on time and ready to test.  Remember, freshmen will go to the second floor, sophomores to the third floor and juniors stay on the first floor.

Clarification for Seniors and Senior Parents - if you want to be in the yearbook you have two choices:  either get your picture taken at school with Lifetouch OR get your senior portraits done with Kari Bedford photography before November 15th. If you have any questions please call Dr. Leardi at 525-3100.

School pictures retake date will be November 18th.

Yearbooks are on sale for $70. You can purchase on www.yearbookforever.com.  Be sure to purchase now as the price will be up to $75 November 1st.

Junior and Senior AP Students - Do you need or want a job? If so, we want to hire you as a tutor here at Springfield High School. You will need to be available Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday each week that school is in session. Strong Math & Science skills are a must. We are needing someone who has been successful in 1 or more AP classes. Sign up in the Guidance Office today.

Students - FREE breakfast and lunch are available each school day. Please make sure that one of your items includes a fruit or vegetable. We serve the most lunches each day amongst the 3 high schools and would like to be #1 in serving breakfast as well! Breakfast and lunch menus are available online. Thank you for supporting our cafeteria staff!

Join GSA after school today in welcoming the Phoenix Center to SHS. The Phoenix Center will be sharing information about resources and activities available. 

Hey hey hey JSA! There will be a debate today in Mr. Hebb’s room after school.

This Saturday come out and walk to help raise awareness to stop human trafficking at the Old State Capital @10:00 am. 99% of human trafficking victims are never rescued. Tomorrow our football team will be wearing shirts to support our walk that you can buy for $20 at the walk! Register online for free at walkforfreedom/Springfield.com, any questions contact Skyler Wantland.

As Senator basketball season is approaching, we are seeking support via advertisements in our new 2019-20 Senators Basketball memento book we are introducing this year. This book will feature a page for each senior athlete, as well as opportunities for family and friends to purchase additional spaces to highlight their athlete (Freshman - Junior) this upcoming season.  SHS students can purchase one and two-line “shoutouts” that will be placed throughout the book to encourage their favorite athletes.  Shoutouts can be purchased by teachers and students for $3.  Memento books will be sold for $10 each beginning at the first home game on December 5, 2019.  Order forms will be placed in the office.  Please attach your money along with the shoutout.  The last day to purchase your shoutout will be November 15th.  Please make checks payable to: SHS Boys Basketball program. The boys soccer team defeated Lanphier 9-0 last night. Carter Formea, Wolf Brethorst, Collin Taylor Laith Adullh, Adrian Herrera, Parker Johnson, Josh Gordy, Brenden Gentry and Ian Lamsargis scored for the Senators. Alexander Eberding recorded the shutout.
