Good morning Springfield High! Today is March 9, 2020




Mrs. Lauer is taking a group of juniors and seniors interested in Law Enforcement on a field trip to the United States Attorney’s Office of Central Illinois the date has been changed it is now on March 12th. The “BLAST; Building Lasting Relationships Between Police and Community” will be from 1st through 5th hour with lunch provided. Students will meet local and federal law enforcement officers, participate demonstrations and simulations, learn about careers in the criminal justice system, etc. You must be passing all classes to attend. Any questions, or if you’d like a permission slip, see Mrs. Lauer in guidance.


Congrats to Kenzie Decker, who participated in the IHSA’s 3 Point Contest on Friday. Kenzie took second place in Bloomington and we thank her for being awesome and representing SHS. Great job, KENZIE!

Congratulations to the Springfield HS IN Session show choir as they took 1st Runner-up in the Prep/Small group Division at the 8th Annual Glenwood's The Event show choir competition. Also Congratulations to Ellen Tuttle for placing 3rd in the solo contest.

Seniors - Jostens will be here on Thursday, March 12th to deliver Senior Graduation orders in the Commons during lunch.  All seniors should pick up orders Thursday.
