The deadline to sign up for and pay for AP tests is one month away! Sign up at MyAp.CollegeBoard.org and don’t forget to deliver cash or check to the SHS Guidance office or mail a check to SHS. Checks can be made out to SHS and each test is $94 each. If mailing a check, please indicate the student name and AP test on the check or with the check.

LLCC is sponsoring online FAFSA events for our high school seniors. Step by step presentations by LLCC’s Financial Aid Office on how to complete the FAFSA with opportunities to meet with Financial Aid representatives and Q/A at the conclusion of the presentation. Are you a high school freshman who is interested in becoming a nurse. If you’re an incoming freshman who is interested in becoming a nurse please see the red box on the right hand side of the district’s home page (www.sps186.org) to find out more about The Nursing Pipeline Preparatory Program (NP3). (NP3) give young people a head start into nursing careers and provides them with early mentors within the Springfield nursing community. Application are due Friday.
