Attention, German club students! If you ordered a t-shirt, they will be available for pickup in Frau Huffman's room (room 250) this week.

The Senator softball team picked a conference win at Southeast last night. Malia Bender and Taylor Verry each had two hits. Skyler Wantland had a hit and 3 RBI’s. And Sam Magalis had a triple. Mallory Vespa pitches two strong innings allowing just one hit and striking out 3.

The baseball team enjoyed a nice Senior Night celebration, but got out of the gates a bit slow and shaky against the Cardinals of Plains, but in the end they prevailed by a 15 to 5 count. The senior stars were many, as Dalen Banks picked up the win on the mound with 3 scoreless innings of relief, striking out 5 and allowing only one hit and one walk. He also helped pace the offense with a majestic homerun and a sac fly to drive in 2. Other senior stars were Joseph Crum with 3 RBI's and 2 hits including a triple to go with 2 hits, 2 RBI's and a double by Case Sparks. Brody Erickson sealed the deal with a long walk-off single in the 6th to nail down the W. Next up is the final CS8 game for the Solons tonight against Eisenhower in a 4:30 contest at Robin Roberts Stadium.

It was a successful Senior Night as the Springfield High School Boys Tennis Team swept Sacred Heart-Griffin in dominating fashion Monday, winning 9-0. In singles, Noah Williams, David Lu, Brian Becker, David Jiang, Zeke Cross and Ethan Stott claimed victories while the doubles teams of Brian Becker/David Jiang, Zeke Cross/Ethan Stott and David Lu/Noah Williams also were victorious. Additionally, Aydin Lane, Alec Breneman and Grant Thompson won their singles matches followed by victories at doubles for the teams of Aydin Lane/Alec Breneman and Grant Thompson/Reece Fullerton. Congratulations to our boys tennis seniors!

Congratulations again to Ameila Bluhm, Emily Brower, Ayva Corbitt, Alissa Egan, Emily Holtrop, Brooklynn Troemper, and Gracie Kaisner. We celebrated their year long installations this weekend. Drive down Monroe street from 3rd to 6th street to see them in person!

And now the Pledge of Allegiance!

I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible with liberty and justice for all.
