Attention students & teachers: The SHS Do Something Club is hosting a Toy Drive for needy kids. SHS families in need will get first dibs at picking a toy, and remaining toys will be donated to Contact Ministries. No need to wrap the gift. Just choose & label the gift as boy or girl, and the age from zero to 15 years old. No Weapons or Violent Toys Accepted. Deadline to drop off a gift in the Main Office & Guidance Office is Tues, Dec 13.

There will be a "Do Something" Club Meeting on Monday, December 12, 7pm in room 150. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Williams.

Best Buddies Holiday party is Friday after school in the commons.

The Class of 2014 will be selling delicious Papa John's Breadsticks today! Three breadsticks and sauce will be sold for a low price of $2.00. A limited amount of breadsticks and sauce will be available today on both lunch shifts, so get there as soon as possible!

Attention SHS Supporters: It's not too late to join the SHS Booster Club and enjoy passes for the upcoming basketball season. Please see the Booster Club webpage or contact Keith Sias (keithsias@aol.com) for more information.

Attention National Honor Society Members and all other SHS students seeking community service hours: Enos Elementary School is having their gingerbread math night tonight from 4:30 -6:30. And, the SHS PTO will run a concessions stand, here at the school, for First Night Springfield (December 31st) from noon until 5:00pm. 6 students are needed for 3 two-hour shifts. Please see Ms. Hubbard if you are interested in volunteering.
National Honor Society: We will not have a meeting this month, however; your 40 service hours for the summer and fall, as well as your Individual Service Project write-up are due before you leave for break. Please see Ms. Hubbard in Room 160 if you have questions and to file hours. Thank you.
Finals start next Friday! Ebony Gems is sponsoring a Study Session Lock-In this coming Monday, December 12th from 6-8 pm. Bring your study materials and a snack to share if possible. All are welcome!
Seniors that the exemption forms can be picked up in Guidance. Each student only needs one exemption sheet.

Attention Senators! Today is Redemption Thursday! Take you Shlotto cards to the commons during either lunch shift to claim your prize. Remember to put your name and teacher's name on the back because you might win a prize in the drawing on Friday! As always, Thank You for Being a Senator!

Attention German Club! If you could not attend last night’s meeting but would like to come to the annual German Christmas party, please come to room 250 and signup. No walk-ins will be allowed.

Attention Spanish Club members! Our new t-shirts have arrived. See your Spanish teachers as soon as possible AFTER SCHOOL to claim your shirt!

Spanish Club members who wish to attend the holiday Fiesta December 13th must sign up with a Spanish teacher no later than Friday, December 9th at 3:30 PM.
