If you think that statistic should change, then help the Do Something Club with their Halloween Food Drive called, "We Scare Hunger," from 3:30-9pm on October 31. Instead of trick or treating for candy, you will trick or treat for canned foods to benefit local food Pantries." Either sign-up at lunch in the Commons at lunch, or after school on Oct 31. Please do not wear your costume until you put it on after school, in the Commons, on Oct 31. If you have any questions, please contact Grace Thompson or Mr. Williams.

Please help the Do Something Club & Benedictine University with their shoe drive to help the "Shoeman Water Projects." These projects will turn your shoes into clean drinking water in third world countries. Shoes are collected, sold for pennies in places like Kenya, Haiti & South America, and the funds pay for well-drilling rigs, water purification systems, & other supplies to bring clean water to communities in need around the world. All you do is gather any new or used shoes that don’t have holes, tie or rubber band them together, & drop them off in the box outside the Guidance Office until November 1. Learn more at www.shoemanwater.org or see Mr. Williams.
