Habitat for Humanity is looking for volunteers to walk with their playhouse float in the St. Patrick's Day Parade, Saturday, March 15, 11:45 a.m. Every parade volunteer will receive a free Habitat t-shirt. They are also looking for volunteers to help with their upcoming Youth Build (House #94), and they are offering a $1,000 scholarship for the student volunteer with the most work hours. Students aged 16 must have a signed parental consent form. You must sign up during lunch, before school, or after school in the Guidance Office by 3:30 pm on Monday, March 24. Congratulations to the Scholastic Bowl team on capturing the IHSA Regional Championship last night. The team defeated Rochester, SHG, and Glenwood in route to the title. This is the 9th regional championship in the last 10 years for the Senators. The team will compete for the sectional championship on Saturday in Macomb.
