Good morning Springfield High! Today is Thursday, October 1, 2015 where successful Senators follow the classroom and school wide expectations and allow for learning all throughout the building. Thank you for Being A Senator!

For tomorrow, Friday, October 2, 2015 for Spirit Week it’s Color Day - 9th grade - Brown and Yellow Mustard, 10th grade - All Red, 11th grade – Black, 12th grade - Togas

Attention: All of you that signed up for the additional parking please come to the main office a.s.a.p. to pick up your contracts! Once these are signed and you have provided your proofs of insurance & registration, your driver’s license and pay the fee you can begin parking there. So hurry up and come see Ms. Floyd.

It’s not too late to get your RED United Way tshirts and show your school spirit and BEAT SOUTHEAST and BUY A RED SPIRIT TSHIRT For United Way!! Buy your shirt on both lunch shifts Today and Friday in the commons and Friday night at the game or get your order form in room 106. LET’S DEFEAT SOUTHEAST BEFORE THE GAME EVEN STARTS!!! The money is due by tomorrow.

Juniors and seniors interested attending the Capital Area Education/Career Fair at the Orr Building on the IL State Fair Grounds on Wednesday, Oct. 7 should stop by the Guidance office or Mr. Kyes' office for a permission slip prior to the deadline, and check in with their assistant principal at the Orr Building. Signed permission slips are due by MONDAY OCTOBER 5TH AT 3:30 PM, NO EXCEPTIONS. Students will be responsible for making up any work missed due to this absence.

Homecoming tickets can be purchased today in the commons during both lunch shifts. Please see Ms. Troike or Mr. Kramer. Tickets are $15/each or $25/couple and $25 at the door.

Achtung Achtung German Club members! Please come to room 250 by 3:30 on Friday, October 2 to vote on this year's German Club T-Shirt. This will only take a few seconds.

The next Superintendent’s Student Roundtable will be held on Wednesday, October 7, from 4-5pm at the Administrative Office located at 1900 W. Monroe.

Sophomore and junior students who are interested in attending CACC, the Capital Area Career Center, next year are encouraged to attend their fall open house October 15 from 5-7. More information can be found on their website at www.capital.tec.il.us

Campus Crimestoppers Crime of the Week. Recently, during 1st hour and after school an unknown subject was observed taking cellphones from the girl's locker room in the gym. The cellphones were left unsecured either with their books or in a book bag. If anyone has any information concerning these thefts please contact an administrator with your tip. Your tip could get you an award of up to $100.00. As a reminder please secure your belongings in your locker.
