Juniors and seniors eligible to apply for NHS this year are posted outside of the main office, 326 and 356. Please check the list and let Mr. Kramer in room 326 know if you intend to apply or not. Applications can be picked up in room 326 and are due by 3:30 P.M. on Friday, February 12.
Students, Want to win a prize? Write an essay or do a poster for the African American History Month contests and you might do just that. See the posters in the halls or Mrs. Eslahi in room 254 for more information.
Donâ€™t forget to buy your Valentine Flowers. They will be sold in the commons before school and during both lunch shifts until next Thursday the 11th. The cost is $1.00. They will be delivered to students during 3rd hour on Friday, February 12. Show that someone special you care â€“ order soon because we always sell out.
ATTENTION PROSPECTIVE BASEBALL PLAYERS NOT OUT FOR A WINTER SPORT: There will be a ten to fifteen minute organizational meeting for guys going out for baseball this Friday right after school in the Commons. You are expected to attend if you plan to try out. See Coach Steinwart in room 166 if for some very good reason you are unable to attend.
The African American History Month Trivia Contest will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays in February.
Seniors, the yearbook staff will be in the Commons next week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, collecting senior autographs for the yearbook.

The Boys Senators swim team easily won their last regular meet of the season against Southeast and Chatham Glenwood high schools yesterday. Jude Kneller won his two event - the 50 free and 100 breast and Matthew Knox won his individual events, the 200 IM and 100 free. Also in the 100 free, JJ Rios, finally broke a minute finishing in 59.17! Drew Harmon continues to dive well, scoring 215.10 points. This weekend is our conference meet, with diving beginning at 9 AM, and swimming beginning at 1 PM. Come out and cheer the senators, at their last local meet!
