The yearbook staff will be selling yearbooks during both lunch shifts in the commons today. We will have a list of who already bought a yearbook at this time too. This is your last chance to pre order a yearbook. The cost is $50.00.

The yearbook staff will have the senior signature page available to seniors during lunch in the commons today!

If you're looking for NHS hours come volunteer at student council's annual Little Kids Holiday dinner! It will be held in the commons today. Sign up in Mrs. Pence's room, the main office or the NHS board. Hope to see you there!

Seniors who plan to graduate early should see Mrs. Krekel in the Guidance office today for the check-out sheet.

Attention all JSA members and anyone interested in a job in government, 1992 Springfield High Graduate, Elizabeth Zelle, will be speaking in the Auditorium after school tomorrow. She is currently serving on a Vice council at the US Embassy in El Salvador. She will be talking about what she does for the State Department and the importance of government service.

Salvation Army is having a food drive. Drop off non-perishable items to the Main office by tomorrow!

There will be an Operation Smile Meeting after school tomorrow. We will be discussing fundraising.

Senators! Show your Senator pride at Boys Basketball City Tourney in a brand new t-shirt every night! Student Council is pre-selling a 3-pack of one red, one black, & one white t-shirt for $25 in the commons on both lunch shifts! NO EXTRA shirts are ordered, this is your only chance to purchase this year's city tourney shirts!

Class of 2010 is selling Tacos Thursday at lunch for $1. Remember Tacos, Tacos, Tacos, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday!

All High Pride members are encouraged to wear red tomorrow and sign up in Coach Reed's room for the gift certificate drawing!

The Lady Senator basketball team broke open a seven point halftime lead and scored 49 points in the 2nd half en route to a 83 to 59 victory over Southeast. Leading SHS in scoring was Allison Anderson with 22 points, Kelly Korza added 17 and Zahna Medley and Kasi Korza each scored 12 and 11 points respectively. Next up for SHS is the Peoria Manual Tournament December 27th, 29th, and 30th. Good job ladies.
