Who needs an extra $25 bucks? If you have information regarding any stolen phone or I-Pod, and the item is recovered OR an arrest is made because of information you provided, you will receive $25 through the CrimeStoppers program. As always, you can remain anonymous when reporting information.

The yearbook staff is doing a feature story on what activities students do after school such as ballet, hockey, horseback riding, etc. Please submit pictures along with information about your activity to Mrs. Devlin's mailbox in the main office.

Attention seniors - There is a list of seniors who have had their senior picture taken for the yearbook on the Capitoline web page. To guarantee we have an accurate list, seniors must check this list and report any questions or concerns to Mrs. Devlin or any yearbook staff member. You can access the Capitoline web page by going to the school web site and clicking on Clubs and then Capitoline.

Don't forget: Passes are not required for lunch visits but....You must have a pass from the guidance office to attend the college sessions. The calendar and the posters are on the Senior bulletin board located outside the Guidance office. Listed are dates and times the University or College will be in the building. Please ask Mrs. Sharp in the guidance office for a college pass to attend these sessions!

The Horatio Alger Scholarship for Seniors who can show critical financial need is available from Mr. Lawson.

There are still seats available for the college bus trip this Thursday to Blackburn College, Carlinville. Pick up a permission form in Guidance and get it turned in tomorrow.

Do Something is holding a Dodgeball tournament. We will have team sign up sheets available in the main office and Ms. Huff's room. Teams will consist of 7 people and must have at least 2 girls. Price is $5 per person. Only the first 40 forms turned in will be accepted! Entry forms and $5 fee must be turned in to Ms. Huff by November 10th. Hurry and sign up!

Are you interested in a career in graphic or web design? Then, join the SITE Club this Friday November 7 as they host Catherine Morrison and Shanna Hayworth from Dig-It-All Designs. These two professionals will be sharing their experiences in the field. We are ordering pizza for the event; so if you plan on attending, please contact Ms. Fox so we order the right amount.

There will be a mandatory Do Something meeting today. This meeting is to finalize plans for the Dodgeball Tournamant. Everyone is required to attend, and new members are still welcome! Remember the Do Something meeting today after school in Ms. Huffman's room.

Attention, Attention! Literature Club will be having its next meeting tomorrow. We will be discussing last month's book The Christopher Killer. November's genre will be Science Fiction, so bring titles of your favorite Science Fiction novels. Remember Literature Club tomorrow, in Mrs. Koen's room!

Come see the all student run play 'Harvey' this weekend in our fabulous new auditorium. Showtime is at 7 PM on Friday & Saturday with a 2 o'clock matinee on Sunday. Prices are $8 for adults and $5 for students.

Hungry for tacos? No need to run for the border. Power walk to the commons on Thursday! The class of 2010 will be selling Taco Bell tacos for $1. Remember, tacos, tacos, tacos, Thursday, Thursday, Thursday!

Any freshmen or sophomores wanting to try-out for Boys Basketball should attend a meeting today in Coach Reed's room 228 at 3:25. Open gym will follow. This is for students not in a fall sport.

Anyone interested in playing Varsity Boys Basketball should attend a meeting in Coach Reed's room, 228, at 3:25 on Wednesday. Any questions see Coach Reed.

There will be an informational meeting for all those interested in trying out for the wrestling team today in room 266. The meeting will after school and should last no longer than 20 minutes.

The word for this week is veracity, a word that means "truth or truthfulness." It comes from a Latin root meaning "truth." It was first used in English in the 17th century.
