Listen up students! The SHS Photo Video club is back on schedule but this time with a new meeting spot. We’ll be in the Commons this Wednesday, the 27th right after school discussing our new projects and club officers. After this, meetings are scheduled to be held every other Wednesday. Also, don't forget to turn in your sign-up sheets and $5 club fees. See you there!

Juniors & Seniors interested in attending the Capital Area Education/Career Fair at the State Fair-Orr Building on Wednesday, October 4th should've received a permission slip in their English classes. If not, stop by the Guidance Office. Students will leave school at 11:57 pm or after 4th period. In order for this to be coded as an activity, students must have turned in Signed permission slips by Monday, October 2nd, 3:30 pm-no exceptions. Students check in with their Guidance Dean at the Orr Building. STUDENTS MUST BE PASSING ALL CLASSES TO ATTEND.

"The homecoming spirt days this year are Monday, September 25th, Jungle Day. Tuesday the 26th is Holiday Day. Wednesday is country vs country club. Thursday will be decade day where freshman are 50s, sophomores are 60s, juniors 70s, seniors 80s. And finally Friday the 29th is color day, freshman wear camo. Sophomores are red, juniors black and seniors wear togos!"

The boys soccer team improved to 5 and 1 in the CS8 with a 9 to 0 victory over Lanphier. The Senators got goals from Kelby Phillips (4), Luke Owsley, Ben Huston, Roman Elston, Max Thuma and Ben Ihlenfeldt. Collin Taylor was in goal for the shutout.

Attention Freshmen - The freshmen class will be selling homemade cookies and rice krispy treats for tailgate on Friday. We are in need of freshmen to donate items. Please bring your baked goods to room Mrs. Kaiser in room 354 or Mrs. Devlin in room 121 by Friday noon.
Attention seniors: If you missed our Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) workshop, it will also be held Wednesday, September 27 at 6:00 p.m. at Lincoln Library in the Carnegie Room on the North 1st Floor. Attend this workshop and learn the average cost of college, types of financial aid available and what you need to apply for financial aid using the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Homecoming guest forms are available in the guidance office for any student bringing a guest from another school. Please have the forms completed with proper signatures and bring them with you to the dance along with your photo ID”s. It is very important that you and your guest provide identification.
