January 29th is the Picture Day for groups, clubs and organizations.
Juniors and Seniors if you qualify for National Honor Society by grades, your name will be on the list outside Rooms 326, 356, the Library, or the Main Office. You need to see Mr. Kramer in Room 326 in the morning, or 153 A, in the afternoon, to get information for applying. Applications will be due by February 11th.
The Junior Class is excited to invite everyone at SHS to the Sadie Hawkin's Dance which will be held February 9th from 8-10 pm in the Commons here at SHS. Tickets will be $10 a person and will go on sale the week of the dance.

New to Springfield High School - Garden Club, Garden Club Garden Club!!!!!!. Come learn to grown your own vegetables, eat healthy, and be organic. Garden Club will meet Tuesdays after school in Ms. Wellers Room 517. Come get your hands dirty and learn a life long valuable skill. That’s Tuesdays in Room 517.
All cast of Mamma Mia! There is a mandatory meeting on Monday, January 28th at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium. You and a parent must be there to get all important information about the show and its schedule.

February 4th; come and participate or observe signed stories, poems, and songs (you are encouraged to try and participate)

It's Almost Valentines Day!! Show that someone special you care by sending them a flower. We will take orders for Carnation Flowers before school and during both lunch shifts in the Commons every day until Valentines Day. Each flower will cost $1.00. Flowers will be delivered on February 14 during 3rd and 5th hours. See Mrs. Devlin with questions.
There will be a softball open gym this Sunday at 1 PM in the gym for girls interested.

The Lady Senator survived the 2nd night of the City Tournament by beating Lanphier 57 to 48. SHS was led by Abby Ratsch with 19 points, and Maya Fetter and Nicole Swehla added 11 each. Next up for SHS is the City Championship against SHG Saturday night with the tip at 6:30.
