Attention Seniors, if you have not ordered your cap and gown, you must contact Jostens ASAP to order. You cannot participate in the graduation ceremony without a cap and gown.
Junior Students - Are you interested in becoming a teacher? UIS is offering a Dual Credit teacher education class for Senior year. For more information, sign up in the Guidance Office or see Mr. Kyes ASAP. Sign-ups are on a first-come-first-served basis.

Capitoline Yearbooks are still on sale at $70 a copy. If you don't have the full amount, you can pay a portion to secure a yearbook for you. Make your check or money order out to Springfield High School or bring your cash to room 254.

First annual Ultimate Frisbee Tournament will be held on Sunday, April 28th at the SHS New Street field. Registration forms are outside Mrs. Devlin's office and in the main office. Cost is $5 per person. You can form your own team, but all participants are required to complete a Registration and Waiver Form to be turned in to Mrs. Devlin by April 24th.
It’s time to start thinking about Fall Play! If you are interested in selecting and directing the 2019-2020 Fall Play, pick up an application from Mrs. Gerdes in Rm. 363 or Mrs. Eaton in Rm. 366. If you’d prefer to complete your application online, send Mrs. Gerdes an email. We will be planning the play this spring and summer and holding auditions in early- to mid-September.
Mamma Mia Cast: If you ordered a t-shirt, they are in. Several of you have to pay prior to receiving your t-shirts. See Mr. Schoppenhorst before the end of second period any day through next week. If you have already paid, just come to pick up your t-shirts.
Attention students and teachers! The SHS Photo Video Club is proud to present the first Solon Film Festival. Everyone is invited to this fun night, showcasing two student films and more. Come support the club, May 3rd, at 7:00 pm in the SHS auditorium. Witness our stars, Will Moffett, as a crazed old man, and Noah Deassuncao as a rubber ducky obsessed jerk. Bring your friends and family to this one night event! Admission is only two dollars per person.

The softball team dropped a close one to Auburn last night 3-1. Malia Bender led the game off with a double. Maddie Cleary then drove her in for the lone RBI of the game. The girls are back at it tonight at 4:30 pm against Southeast at UIS.
