There are three ways to access the SHS athletic schedules and information.  On the SHS page located on the right hand side there is a blurb titled Athletic Schedules and Information click on this and it will take your there; you may also go to the athletic page and click on the sentence titled Athletic Schedules and Information; or your may go the following link  https://springfieldhighschoolil.bigteams.com

If you are thinking about taking the October Saturday SAT, and you might be eligible for a fee waiver, please sign up ASAP with Mr. Kramer.

Your 2019-2020 yearbooks are on sale now!  Go to yearbookforever.com to purchase one!  Do so now as prices will increase throughout the semester!  Past yearbooks are still for sale in Moon’s room, 364. 

SENIORS!!! VERY IMPORTANT! LISTEN UP! Only 75 of you have signed up to have your pictures taken by Kari Bedford Photography. If you would like a unique senior photo in the yearbook, book your session now at www.schoolhousepics.com.  There is a link on the SHS website, posters around the school, and an SHS yearbook Facebook page for your parents.

Feminist club! Great turn out last week, but we would love to see more of your faces! Our next meeting is tomorrow right after school until around 4!  Bring yourself and bring a friend! 

D&D Club will meet tomorrow from 3:30-5:00.  Please see Mr. Havener for questions.

Love board games, word games, or just want to hang out GSA will be hosting a student game event tomorrow after school in room 366. All are welcome.

AVANTIS Arrives tomorrow!  Don't forget to bring your tickets to pick up your Gondolas or Bread in the Commons during both lunch shifts and until 4 pm.  There will be extra Gondolas, $7 each and Bread $3 each to purchase during both lunch shifts tomorrow.  Questions, contact Sabrena Campbell 691-5401.

The JV Boys Golf Team finished second in a triangular match vs. SHG and Lincoln on Monday night. James Jenkins and Adam Sevener led the way, both shooting a 47 on the front nine.

The girls volleyball team beat Decatur Eisenhower last night 25-9 25-9 at Decatur. We resume play tonight at Southeast at 6pm. We hope you will come out & support us.

Hey hey hey JSA! There will be a meeting after school in Mr. Hebb’s room tomorrow until 4.

The girls golf team suffered their second match loss of the season last night at Shambolee Golf Course in Petersburg, as they fell to Rochester by 2 strokes.  The team total of 185 was good enough to defeat Auburn and Camp Point Central.  Sophomore Kayla Adkins led the Senators with a 44.
