Juniors and Seniors - Next Wednesday, Oct. 2, is the College Fair in the Orr Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds. Permission slips are in the Guidance Office and are due NO LATER than Monday, Sept. 30 by 3:30 to the Guidance Office. Students must be passing all of their afternoon classes and provide their own transportation. Juniors and Seniors who qualify will be allowed to leave after the end of 4th hour.
The girls volleyball team won their 2nd game of City Tournament last night against Southeast to bring their record to 12-4 for the season. We play SHG for the City Championship tonight. We are looking forward to the support of the the student body to support us at the game tonight! We need your support!!!
The boys golf team defeated both Chatham and Taylorville last night. Leading the way and earning medalist honors was Peyton Woods with a 38. Jake Baldin followed with a 42. Reece Fullerton added a 43 and Joseph Crum shot a 44. The boys would like to invite everyone out to the Washington Cup after school today at Lincoln Greens Golf Course where they look to retain the cup from SHG. Tee times start at 3:00pm.
Juniors and Seniors two visits will take place Monday, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will visit 5th hour and Columbia from New York will be here 7th hour. U of I is a competitive school that requires over a 1300 SAT and a 26 and up ACT. Columbia has a 6.1% acceptance rate, and have admissions standards that require a 32 or 1450 and up. Sign ups are outside Mr. Kramer's office.
