As Senator basketball season is approaching, we are seeking support via advertisements in our new 2019-20 Senators Basketball memento book we are introducing this year. This book will feature a page for each senior athlete, as well as opportunities for family and friends to purchase additional spaces to highlight their athlete (Freshman - Junior) this upcoming season. SHS students can purchase one and two-line “shoutouts” that will be placed throughout the book to encourage their favorite athletes. Shoutouts can be purchased by teachers and students for $3. Memento books will be sold for $10 each beginning at the first home game on December 5, 2019. Order forms will be placed in the office. Please attach your money along with the shoutout. The boys soccer team advanced to the Sectional final with a 2-1 victory over Champaign Central. Carter Formea and Wolf Brethorst scored for the Senators while Ben Huston had 2 assists. Collin Taylor had an outstanding game in goal. The Senators will play Morton on Friday 6 pm at Bloomington High School.
Calling all wrestlers! There will be a brief informational meeting for all students thinking of joining the wrestling team today right after school in the auditorium.
Fan Bus - There will be a fan bus on November 1st for the football playoff game in Lemont. Permission slips are on the counter in the main office, room 204. The cost will be $15 to ride the bus and this includes the ticket to get into the game. Students will need to bring extra money for any other items they may want. This will limited to the first 37 students who turn in their permission slips and money. This form must be turned in by 3:30 on Thursday - NO EXCEPTIONS.

Thanks to the girls volleyball team for a great season who finished the season with a 21-13 record after a loss to Bloomington High in the Regional tournament.
If you have any old iPods, iPod chargers, or overhead headphones, please donate them to Mr. Kramer's office in room 153A during the afternoons between now and Friday, November 8th. All proceeds go to Music & Memory to help with the music therapy of Alzheimer's patients.
