We encourage all of our students to cheer on their classmates in an appropriate manner in all of our athletic contests. In order to help reduce the cost of attending the events, we will be selling Student Activity Passes for $30. These passes are good for all SHS home events excepts tournaments and post-season play. These passes are sold only before school and after school in the main office, room 204.
Lunch time tutoring is available in room 120 during your lunch shift.

We will have the first meeting of the year for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes next Tuesday, Sept 28 at 7:45 in the morning in room 330, Mr. Lightfoot’s room. If you have any questions or are unable to attend but would still like information, please let Mr. Lightfoot know.
Students interested in playing boys basketball, open gym will begin Thursday from 3:30 to 5:00 pm. Players need provide their own water, and must wear a mask for the entire time. Students must currently be enrolled at SHS to participate.
There is no school for students on Friday, September 24th, due to a teacher in-service meeting.
Congratulations to the girls volleyball team on their win against Southeast 25-7 25-16 in the City tournament. The Senators were lead by Ruth Becker with 7 kills, Sarah Becker 17 digs, Megan Becker 8 assists & 5 blocks, Chloe Byrd with 5 aces. Great job!!
The boys golf team defeated Glenwood in the Ryder Cup event last night. The boys shot a 140 compared to Glenwoods 151. Peyton Woods, Jake Baldin, Julian Valenti, Max Gebhardt, James Oh and Reece Fullerton all shot 2 under par 34s. Charlie Roberts and Bryce Pound added a 38. Congrats guys.
The boys varsity soccer team remained undefeated in the CS8 with an 1-0 victory over Rochester. Drew Herman scored for the senators and Xander Eberding recorded the shut out. The JV soccer team won the Glenwood tournament this Saturday beating Jacksonville,Quincy and Glenwood. The JV team remained undefeated with a victory over Rochester.
