Good morning Springfield High! Today is December 21, 2021

There will be no after school or lunch tutoring today or tomorrow.

Hey Senators - have you ever thought about getting certified to be a lifeguard? Well, the Springfield Park District is offering trainings for certification at SEHS Eisenhower Pool. Pick up the flyer in the main office and take the course - the next one coming up is December 29-30.

Get ready for some TRIVIA! The Booster Club is hosting a Trivia Night on Saturday, January 29, from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. in the Commons. Teams of 6 need a captain to go to:  www.shstrivia.com  Then click Team Registration at the top! Get your friends and family together for a night of fun at SHS!

It is that time of year again, City Shirts are for sale! This year, the shirt bundle has 4 shirts to include Wednesday night's girls game. It's like the 4 for $4, but ten times more expensive! Shirts will be in light pink, white, black, and red for $40. Orders are due back to Mr. Kramer in 153A before Winter break tomorrow.  Any questions email Mr. Kramer (bkramer@sps186.org).  Order forms are in the Main office or with Mr. Kramer in 153A.

SHS will be presenting Legally Blonde the Musical!  We need YOU to come be a part of this super fun and amazing production!  We need singers, actors/actresses, dancers, cheerleaders, poms and more!  Even if you don’t sing but you love to dance, come to try outs!!  See the SHS web site with the pink banner and click to sign up for auditions on Tuesday, January 4th.  If you want to sign up for production crew, costumes, make up, or any other part of the crew - sign up in the main office at the counter. Yay - Legally Blond is coming and we need you!

Any athlete wanting to participate in sports this winter and spring will need to pass a minimum of 5 classes at the end of the 1st semester. If you now realize you may need to take a final next week, please talk to your teacher or Ms. Smith ASAP. Again, athletes must pass a minimum of 5 classes at semester. Grades post on Thursday, December 23rd.
