After school tutoring is available for any SHS student on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4:30 in room 160. Tutoring is provided by SHS teachers and students can come in for support in any subject. Lunch time tutoring is also available every day during either lunch shift in room 120.

National Honor Society is now accepting applications for new Junior and Senior members. A list of eligible applicants is located on each class's Canvas page announcements tab. The lists are also posted outside Mr. Kramer's office (153A), Mrs. Taft's room (356), and the Main Office. Applications will be due February 24th. There will be an informational meeting about the upcoming boys and girls track and field season after school today in Mr. Deatherage’s room. Practice officially begins on Monday January 24th! It should only last about 10 minutes. If you have any questions see Coach Cotner.
Themes for City Tournament Spirit Week - Wednesday - Swolon/Workout Day - Wear your workout gear. Thursday - Olympics/USA Day - Dress up as an Olympic athlete or as a fan at the Olympics in USA gear. Friday - Formal Friday - Wear the fun and fancy outfit that you don’t get to wear often.
Congratulations to the showchoir program at Springfield high school! Scarlet Harmony received 2nd Runner-up In the Unisex Division! With Best Performer Madi Landgrebe. IN Session received 3rd Runner-up in the Prep Division! With Best Performer Pagie Manning. Also a special Congratulations to Aleah Cross, competing in the solo contest, received 2nd Place honors oversl and got to Perform her solo in Finals!
Pizza, Pizza, Pizza! Thursday, Thursday, Thursday. Be a Senator will be selling hot Papa John’s pizza for $2 per slice on Thursday during both lunch shifts.
On Friday, the Springfield High wrestling team won the City Tournament for the first time since 2017! The senators went 3-0 on the night defeating Lanphier 54-13, Southeast 42-36, and SHG 53-30. Individual City champions were Kaden Rios, Armani Emery, Teddy Thornberry, Alex Souva, and Jackson O’Connor.
On Saturday the junior varsity wrestlers took 3rd place at the Chatham tournament being led by a 1st place finish from Gabe Ruvalcaba, and second place finishes from Christian Lithila and Morris Fairlee. Great job wrestlers!
