  1. Washington Warriors this is your Warrior Wake up Call, Did you know that US adults consume an average of 3,400 mg/day [of sodium], well above the current federal guideline of less than 2,300 mg daily.




  2. Monday, March 26th will be spring picture day. Students can be out of uniform if they are taking spring pictures. Clothing must be appropriate for school. Order forms will be passed out in math class. Extra forms are available in room 208 or the main office. If you are ordering pictures, forms and money are due to the photographer when you get your picture taken on Monday.




  3. There is 7th grade tutoring today after school in room 208. You must be in the room by 2:40.




  4. Attention 6th Graders. If you received a permission slip for the Planetarium Field Trip please have them signed by a parent or guardian and return them to your History teacher NO LATER than Monday March 26.




  5. Are you interested in going to see the movie “A Wrinkle in Time”?  WMS has a book club in the library during your lunch! We are reading the book, taking the AR test and then going to see the movie!  Six people have already finished the book and have their permission slips in hand. Join the book club in the library at lunch, or get the book to finish it on your own and enjoy the show.




  6. Attention all scientists!  The March edition of the WMS Science Club will be investigating forensics.  We will be meeting on Tuesday March 27 in 221. Remember you must sign up in room 218 prior to the meeting.  Hope to see you there!




  7. Tomorrow will be a $2 jeans day.  You can purchase your jeans bracelet tomorrow morning near the cafeteria doors.




  8. Students reading is fundamental. Please make certain you have a book at all times during the school day. Students are expected to be reading when not participating in class activities.




  9. Students cell phones and other electronic devices should not be visible during the school day. Please refer to page 9 of your student agenda for further information on cell phone use and electronics at school.
