  1. There is 7th grade tutoring today after school in room 208.

  2. The district is having multiple summer school opportunities for students this year. Incoming Freshman have an opportunity to gain 1 credit prior to fall semester next year by taking summer school courses. See your guidance counselor for more information. Teachers be sure to check your box for summer school information for students. These forms are due to the office by this Friday May 4th.

  3. The Sangamon County Kids Bicentennial Penny Drive ended on Friday. Thanks to all students that helped raise funds for this campaign. The WMS grade level competition ended in a tie for the grade level able to wear jeans on Friday. 6th and 7th grade students will be able to wear jeans on Friday.

  4. A reminder students: Cell phones, earbuds, and earphones should not be visible during the school day. For further information on cell phone use and electronics at school, please see page 9 in you student agenda.

  5. Also, students are reminded to have a book with them at all times. Students should be reading when not participating in class activities. The library has many new books. Be sure to get one today. Reading is fundamental.

  6. The Washington Warrior Band and Choir will have their Spring Concert next Tuesday, May 8th. Please come out and support your fellow Warriors as they perform. The concert will begin at 6:30pm in the gymnasium.

  7. Attention Warriors this is your Warrior Wake Up Call!  Did you know that Writing things out by hand will help you remember them.  So its important to be prepared to class with paper and pencils!

  8. The Warrior Band and Choir will be having their concert next Tuesday, May 8th. Please come and support. Concert starts at 6:30 in the gymnasium.
