Project SCOPE is available to students in grades Kindergarten through 5th!
Project SCOPE available for both Hybrid and Remote families
Project SCOPE is still accepting registrations for the 2020-21 school year. Families must register by Wednesday evening in order to start SCOPE the following week. Families who chose Hybrid as well as those who chose Remote are welcome to register for Project SCOPE during this time of all Remote Learning.
Due to restrictions and guidelines, we will only accept a certain number of registrations for each elementary school. Limited openings remain available. Registrations will be accepted in date order.
To begin the registration process, please email firstname.lastname@example.org. Linda will send you an email with a link to register online.
Project SCOPE is providing all-day childcare during Remote Learning.
The District 186 school board voted Aug. 13 to begin the 2020-2021 school year with remote learning for all students. During this period of Remote Learning, Project SCOPE will offer childcare from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily at each elementary school.
The weekly rate is $105 per child.
Students may only attend the SCOPE program at the school that they attend. Payment is due on Monday for the week of service. Checks are to be made payable to: Project SCOPE. We work with Community Connection Point for families that need assistance with their fee. For more information on Community Connection Point (CCP), please call 525-2805 or go to the Web Resources link at the top left side of this page for a link to CCP's web site. You will need to pick up an application from CCP, complete your information and deliver the form to the dropbox at the SCOPE office, 2120 E. Reservoir. Our staff will complete our portion of the form and forward it to CCP. The first payment is due on Aug. 31 and subsequent payments must be paid the first day of each week.
If your child is not starting SCOPE immediately, you will still need to pay $105 per week to reserve the spot.
If District 186 adopts a Hybrid schedule later in the semester, Project SCOPE will offer childcare before and after school for families who selected the Hybrid model.
