2019 - 2020
I apologize that I have not been keeping this updated as much but here is a packet you can print off and pick and choose from for your students to do.
Aftr the math test we will be learning about measuring! If you want to to just get them started, give them a regular ruller and have them measure anything and everything. If you are going to do this it would be great to teach them a little about the ruler and how to use it. Start with the inches side not the cenimeters side. Before you start the worksheets or have them measure items, make them estimate how long they think it is before they measure thie object or anything on the worksheets.
Hello families, I have assigned the math test to the students on the Pearson website. It may take a couple of tries to log in but it should work. When they get logged in they will either click on Pearson realize, MY WORK or they will click on the ORANGE BOX underneath where it says classes. Then they test or quiz is called TOPIC 11 ONLINE ASSESSMENT. Please do not help your child with these problems. What you can do is read the problem to them if they struggle. ( This will not be for a grade but it will help me see if we need to continue working on 3-digit subtraction, or if we can move on to measuring next week.) Please have your student take this before Monday of next week if possible. Thanks :)
These are some fun writing prompts that are fun to do for March and April. The students can start with whatever day that they want.
Hello Parents/Guardians, I will be using the remind app to keep in touch with everyone. If you get a text message from an unkown person or if it says anything about downloading the Remind app, please do. This app is a better way to keep in touch besides email I will still be available through email.
This is through the district website. It has lessons and activities that are school based that students are also available to do as well. There is also a log so you can write down the activities that were done. It would be great if you could fill out the log and return it to school with your student so I can see that they did during this time period that we are out of school.
Please have your students read at least 20-30 min at night. Then please continue to fill out the reading log.
This is a preview letter about the research project.
These are printable worksheets for the students to do to practice for the online test on Wednesday
