Have you checked your email today? If you said, “No,” then check it now!  If you said, “Yes!” then you realize I haven’t sent you anything yet.  HAHAHA.  Please get in the habit of checking your Gmail account a couple times throughout the day during the closure.  It is important, because it is how we are going to stay connected for the time being.

That being said, I am going to push a couple of things out to you today. One thing for math and one for history.  Neither thing will be difficult but it will start getting you back into form.

Here is going to be the biggest problem for most of you guys, making an effort to try the things we assign.  We have gotten in the practice of relying on teachers and peers to help us complete much of our work.  You have to trust in yourself and your skills.  It is okay to ask for help and seek assistance, but you must try on your own first.  A real effort, not just looking at the problem and saying “I can’t do it, it’s too hard!” and then not even trying.   You have to try to dissect and ask what it is you are being asked to do.  Then try.  That is all we can ask, is that you make an effort to show growth.  As long as you trust in yourself and try, you will certainly show growth.

Stay safe, stay healthy, wash your hands and wash them again.

Mr. D.
