I am excited to have all you in class this year. Great things are happening in the Springfield School District. This year an emphasis has been on collaborated learning. Students who work in groups often do better than those in a lecture format class. I am editing my lesson plans to include more collaborative learning. This should make for more interesting lessons. I am excited to start this year off working as partners! Along with collaboration comes more responsibility. I believe that high school is an important time to teach responsibility before students enter adulthood. Students are responsible for their own work and behavior. They will be taught how to check their grades and assignments so they can take responsibility. Last, I would like to discuss open communication. As partners in learning communication is important. You and your parents are encouraged to communicate concerns and ideas. I can be reached through phone and email. During the day you can call the school phone number 525-3080 extention 124 to reach me. I will also check my email, email@example.com, periodically throughout the day and once in the evening. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your education!
