Deleting Adobe PDF Plugins

Nov 4, 2013 Adobe PDF plugins cause many problems. It is recommend to remove them if they are installed. Prerequisite: You must be an admin on your computer. 1. Quit all applications 2. Open your hard drive, usually named "Macintosh HD" and located on the Desktop 3. Open the "Library" folder 4. Open the "Internet Plug-Ins" folder 5. Move the two items with "AdobePDF" in the name to the trash 6. Check to see if issue is resolved Picture to the right ------>

Repairing Disk Permissions

Nov 1, 2013 Prerequisite: You must be an administrator on your computer. 1. Quit all applications 2. Go to the "Applications" folder 3. Go the the "Utilities" folder 4. Open "Disk Utility" 5. Select your drive name (Usually "Macintosh HD") 6. Click "Repair Disk Permissions" 7. Wait until it finishes then close "Disk Utility" 8. Check if issue is resolved Picture to the right --->

OS9 IP Printer Setup

Feb 26, 2010 1. Open Applications MacOS 9, then open Utilities 2. Double Click "Desktop Printer Utility" 3. Select "Printer (LPR)" and click OK. 4. In the "PostScript Printer Description (PPD) File" section, click on "Change..." and select "Generic". 5. In the "LPR" section, click on "Change..." to bring up the Internet Printer window. 6. Enter the printer's IP address for "Printer Address". 7. For queue name leave it blank. 8. Click on "Verify" to verify that the printer was found. 9. Click OK. READ MORE

Mobi Troubles?

Sep 29, 2009 Having trouble with your Mobi? Try the following: FIRST: 1. Turn your Mobi Pad OFF 2. Unplug the USB RF Adapter 3. Exit DeviceManager from the menubar icon 4. Plug in the USB RF Adapter 5. Open the DeviceManager Application      -Located in either your Dock, or in the folder Applications/eInstruction/DeviceManager/ 6. Items Automatically Opening at Login?

Sep 22, 2009 To prevent or allow a program to open at login, do the following: 1. Open the program 2. Find the program's icon in the Dock 3. Click on the icon and hold 4. Wait for a menu to pop up 5. Select or un-select "Open at Login" You're done!

Constant Keychain Password Message?

Sep 20, 2009 First, try resetting the login password via Apple's instructions here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201609 If that doesn't work, you can try these steps: https://www.bemidjistate.edu/offices/its/knowledge-base/forgot-your-keychain-password/ If that doesn't work, open the "Self Service" application in your Applications folder. Login with your username/password.  Search for keychain, then click the "RESET" button for the policy.
