Fall Party 2017

Nov 29, 2017 We had alot of fun at our Fall Holiday Party this year.  We did all kinds of fun activites in the classroom and had yummy treats brought to school by many of our friends.

Partner Reading 2017

Nov 29, 2017 We have a new reading program this year and during the reading block, we partner read.  We LOVE partner reading with our classroom buddies!

Decatur Scovill Zoo Trip 2017

May 21, 2017 We went to the Scovill Zoo on Thursday, May 18th, 2017.  We had a great time seeing and learning about all the different kinds of animals that live at the zoo.

Class Dojo Pizza Party

Apr 28, 2017 My friends that had 40 Dojo points this week earned a pizza party today.  They earned 40 points this week by doing a great job listening, and following directions.  Next week we will have a 40 point ice cream sundae party.

Black History Celebration

Apr 16, 2017 Each class had a special visitor that came in and shared with the boys and girls about thier life.  We had past  City of Springfield Alderman Gail Simpson.

Dr Seuss's Birthday Celebration

Apr 16, 2017 We got all 3  second grade classes together.   We read a Dr. Seuss story and ate green eggs and ham.
