Students took the National Geographic Preliminary Round Written Test for the 2020 GEOBEE. The test was administered to all LMS students in their history classes. 3 days ago Students in my afternoon classes had a guest teacher. I was attending a training in the building. Pre-Algebra: Today we covered Lesson 1-7: More Properties of Integer Exponents. I taught the lesson to 2nd hour. The students in 7th hour had to go to Google Classroom to copy the notes. There are homework hints on Google Classroom, as well. The homework is pages 49-50 (#10-14, 16, 17, 19, 21, and 22). READ MORE
4 days ago Pre-Algebra: We started class with a few short Problems of the Day. We filled in an organizer for the Rules of Exponents. Students did problems (#5-8) on page 42, then we went over them. Students started their homework in class. The homework is pages 43-44 (#15-18, 20-24, 26, and 27). U.S. History: We continued our study of primary source documents surrounding the events of the Boston Massacre. There are 7 documents (1 per group). READ MORE
