SHS Library Mission Statement

The mission of the SHS Library, in accordance with the Future Ready Library framework, is to provide access to the books, resources, and technology necessary to best meet the academic, recreational, and informational needs of the school's student body and staff.  In seeing this mission through, the SHS Library will establish goals based off of current building needs as well as through frequent consultation of the District 186 library policy manual, the Illinois Standards-Alligned Instuction for Librarys framework, and the Future Ready Library continuum.
