**3rd Hour-7th Grade Accelerated Math:**

Today we checked and went over problems 4-12, on pages 510-511. Next, we began Lesson 9-2, Theoretical Probability. We read and discussed examples 1-3, working through the Try It questions to ensure understanding. Finally, the students started working on problems 4-10, 13, and 14, on pages 516-518. They should make sure these problems are completed for homework. The students also spent part of the class period working on an IAR Practice Test. We will continue to work through these types of problems the next couple of weeks in order to prepare for the actual test which will begin on March 23.

**4th Hour-8th Grade AVID:**

Today we had tutorials! The students were put in to a group to share a problem/question and work through their point of confusion. Once they finished presenting, they wrote a reflection as to how the process went for them.

**5th Hour-8th Grade Algebra 1:**

Today the students who needed to finish their Chapter 8 Test took care of that. We also took notes and discussed Lesson 9-1, Quadratic Functions and Their Graphs. We did several problems together to ensure understanding. For homework, they should choose 6 Function Tables/Graphs from the Function Table Worksheet, making sure to also fill in the information on the second worksheet that goes with each graph.
